This has been on my wall for quite some time now -a quick doodle in Adobe Illustrator back when I was experimenting with the Helvetica typeface. I didn't think it would be popular among my designer friends, so, by request, and as homage to every other designer, this poster is here for you!

Thank you. Here's your answer:

If you've been working in the design industry, especially in advertising, you'll realize that it's pretty relevant to most designers that proper sleep hours at night is not an option. Deadlines are always tight, so most of us slave away on our computers finishing designs, drinking jugs of coffee to stay awake for a couple of days more until the project is completed. And the cycle repeats as new big projects come in.

Besides, it's easier to work and concentrate at night when the rest of the city sleeps. No distractions. Most artists find this to be true.
