The way you play me songs, I begin to ponder deep,
And I look into the window of my mind.
It is like a book with blank pages but stories that unfold…
And I muse through corridors of still emotions,
White walls and empty picture frames,
And withered roses on pedestals.
Breathless, I walk to the end, to the light.
I find the message, see the letters,
It is until you stabbed my heart.
Then I awaken from that brain wave,
And you transform into a black butterfly,
And you disappear into the air,
Away, afloat with the leaves.
I stand alone while winds blow upon me.
Your music still plays,
Echoing in the woods like an empty tale.
Its wings, fluttering by my ears,
Haunting me like the crack of twigs when I walk.
But read my words, I mean them true,
These are my seconds when I talk with you…
Your existence is a riddle of reality,
Yet believe when I say I love you.
I must be insane to fall for you,
Invisible, hollow essence of my dreams.
I fly away to distant spaces,
Swept in streams of sweet surrender,
So pull me back before I drift,
Stuck forever in my illusionary realm.
